swmeek I got your benevolent dictator pal!!

You'll need to post a dxdiag of your system before we can help you Khalie.
Click the start button and when the start menu pops up look for the run option on the bottom right.
Click it and in the box that pops up type in dxdiag
Click ok and let it run. when it's done click the tab at the bottom that says save all information.
Make sure you have it set in the bottom box as a .txt file.(should be automatically set)
You'll see the green bar on the bottom left move while it's doing this.
    Save it to your desktop.
Now go in to the file and copy and paste the two parts of your dxdiag that look mine here.
To copy and paste in case you don't know how take your mouse pointer and set it right above the words you want to copy and press the left mouse key and drag it down through the text you want to copy.
Now you can either right mouse click the highlighted text and click copy or hit the the ctrl and c keys on your keyboard at the same time.
Now go into your reply and click on it and hit either ctrl and v keys or right mouse click and click paste.
More than likely you got a simple video card driver problem which is fairly easy to fix by downloading the most current driver for your card or chip.
Then again it could be your video card is going bad.
You probably would have seen some graphic issues if this were the case.
