I need help! I got a new video card. I can play so many games such as Bioshock, counterstrike, WoW.. and I cant play the sims!!!! Error: "Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate" Please tell me how to show you my specs or at least what you need.. I have tried everything.. absolutely everything.. I just dont understand! please please please hep!
NVIDIA Geforce 7950 GT, and it works like a charm, got all the updates with the drivers and everything, but I cant run the sims! /cry :(

Video Memory: 2414 MB So yeah its The Sims 2 with all expansion and stuff packs upto freetime. All other games work fine. Any help would be much appreiated. Thanks.
What driver set lol, did ya miss out the link? And yeah i forgot say, i installed all the patches for the games respectively as i installed them on my machine.

Installed it. No luck, same error message. And just noticed you said THE latest driver set, not THIS, thats why i thought the link was missing, my bad.
I'm starting to wonder if EA hard coded all their compatibilities for certain graphics cards inside Sims 2.
