I think we're missing some critical pieces of information on EA's part. This doesn't make any sense. Goto Start > Run > type in DXDIAG and press Enter From there Goto the Display Tab. Are any of the directx features disabled?
Everything is enabled for me, all three of them. I have also tried running the game in Windows XP compatibility mode, but the same error still comes up.
Hmm i managed to solve my problem, it was down to a faulty no-cd crack it seems. I dont know why i never thought to check it before, guess i never figured it would cause an error saying that kinda thing to come up. So i dont use the no-cd now and the game loads up fine with a mini-image. So silver spoon, if you are using a no-cd crack maybe try and find another way to load up your game see if that helps?? thanks for all the suggestions managerjosh.
