Didnt know where to put it but how do I get that leaf thing to get past the jaguar?

 

in Sleepy Hollow
Where you talk to the Shamane, there is a shrub in the background (behind the Poton station) with bluish-white leaf tips or flowers. if you click on that shrub you'll get the option "pick leaf"
Once you're back at the Crossroads, just click the Jaguar and chose TAME
