Sims freezing while game continues Hello! I was playing the game and I had 2 sims in the Hottub and I decided to add something to the lawn so I went into Buy mode and as you know it pauses the game in the process. Now when I wenht back into game mode, my 2 sims froze but the game continued. The time kept going normally, I could still chose options for them to do things and the sounds and my sims hunger and what not kept going down as time progressed. I have a brand new computer with barely anything on it, and I've never had this problem even when running sims 2 on an old computer. Any ideas? Thanks
Press Ctrl + Alt + C and type "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" (without the quotes) then Shift + Click on your sim and select 'Force Error' or click 'More' until you see 'Force Error' when the box pops up click reset, do this for both sims. Then press Ctrl + Alt + C and type "boolprop testingcheatsenabled false". Hopefully this will fix your problem.
