    Can't install past Disc 1

    1. Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T8300 @ 2.40 GHz
    2. System Memory RAM (MB/GB:( 2038 ram
    3. Windows Version (98/XP etc.:( XP Pro
    4. Free Hard Disk Space: 128 GB
    5. Total Hard Disk Space: 144 GB
    6. DirectX Version: 9.0c
    7. Display Adapter (Graphic/Video Card:( Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
    8. Display Driver Name and Version Number & date: igxprd32.dll, 6.14.0010.4831, 5/16/2007
    9. Approximate Total Video Memory: 384 MB
    10. Game Detail: Sims2 CD
    11. Nature of problem: When installation gets to 23%, it asks for Disc 2, but when I put it in it just freezes. No error prompt shows up. I'm trying to install it on a laptop; I tried on a desktop and it worked just fine. The packaging is in Chinese, but I've been installing it as English.

Call where ever you bought it from and get a replacment disk. I had something like that happen to mine. My disk would never get past a certain percent when installing. Hope this helps....
