Trouble Installing Sims 2 Double Deluxe Well i got the game today Yay! But, it this happens Any ideas on what to do would be appreciated:happy:
looks like your standard read-error to me. You could either try to clean the DVD carefully (no circular motions !!) Or, since that seams to be a rather new PC (still all the "Bloatware" installed copy the DVD to a Directory on your harddrive and try to install from there. The copy routine might be more fault tolerant than the install routine itself. -le
I tried that but it turns out my CD was defected so i went to get a new copy and when i got home and opened the case no manual and no serial code so another dilemma lol
Looks like you'll have to make another trip to the store to get another copy. If it were me I'd open the case at the store with the manager or some other employee there to make sure everything that's supposed to be there is there.
