Unable to open the game. I've managed to run into a wall with my new PC. Every time I try to open the Sims 2, I get stuck at the first white screen saying "Sims2". After several minutes my computer locks up, forcing me to restart. Tried patching it, updated drivers, still can't get it to work. Any ideas? you might want to look into T H I S On my rig (Vista/Athlon Dualcore/2GiG RAM) Sims2 wouldn't even attempt to start without the patch. Instead I got a pop up to search for a matching patch. (That might have been a "perk" of Vista though But ever since everything works just fine here. -le -le
