After a space age computer freeze, spore will no longer start. Vista - 36bit? - Intel media accelerator driver I've had multiple game crashes in all of the earlier stages, and after finally getting to the space stage [usually by skipping all the animations] the game and computer completely froze. Ctrl-Alt-Del did not even work. I had to hold down the power button to get the computer off, then turned it back on.During the reboot, it said something about a serious computer error, and did I want to start in Safe Mode. I said No. Now, like the previous post by GodOfWar, I can not even get the the EA screen without the game crashing. The only thing that manages to load is the mouse graphics, and it takes a much longer time for even that to happen. I believ this is a completely seperate problem that the [probable] graphic driver crashes that I was experiencing before. Could my pulling the power on a frozen computer have damaged some of my core drivers/devices/ect? I've tried re-installing, which did not work, and I can't even get any of my previous "system Restore Points" to load correctly. To top it all off, I'm posting this from a work computer, because half the sites on the internet don't load on my computer, or my wireless laptop. [So, i'm sorry, but I can't post any of my dxdiag or anything yet] I'll post more specifics later.
Dxdiag and Exception attached. My Intel(R) 82945G Driver is as updated as I can get it. Oddly, if I'm on the computer as a different user, it works fine; discounting the fact that I have to start completely over.
