UGH!! Credit Card Highway Robbery!!!!! UGH!!!! I got my credit card statement today, and I literally hit the roof!! I paid my balance off in FULL last month and the previous month, but for some reason I got hit with a finance charge. It was only a $1.00, but LOOK AT THIS! Effective APR: 52.08% OMG.....52.08%!! That's highway robbery!!!! Borrow 10.00 -> Pay 5.21 in interest. Borrow 1000.00 -> Pay 520.8 in interest
