I think the whole digital tv transition is a joke. What about those who use small televisions that use batteries for during a storm and the power goes out? They aren't thinking of the worst case scenario!

Not worried We're not worried. Cable in the house. Thing is, they need to boost the transmit power a bit. The digital "cliff" is steep. More so than the analog. The repubs want it now so that the fcc can alocate the frequencies over to the emergency crews -police, fire, rescue- that have been promised the airwaves. Other governmental agencies will also divy up that spectrum. BTW -Gabriel Storm is back. :smoker:

Can you picture barack Obama sitting in the oval office saying well if I can't have my Sims3 then you can't have your digital broadcastinguntil June !
