I want to try it out, but I've been having problems downloading it still... :-/

I'm pretty sure I seen where it had been extended for a while more.

It's definitely been extended, however it still refuses to download!

I've heard a lot of good things about it, too. But then again, Vista performed well in betas... and look at the final product.

I'll happily stick with my Mac. :)

Josh go over to www.hardocp.com and look through the news archives there on the front page.
It seems to me that they had it set up for easy download and putting it on a dvd (i would assume)

Got it on my laptop, it runs beautifully. Haven't had time to use my laptop that much, but I cannot wait to pick it up when it hits shelves. I am still hoping Microsoft will give a coupon for those who bought Ultimate. Please, please, please, please!

Ah, and chances are you're going to have to go thru 'other' means of downloading the beta than getting it from the official site. I'm not going to say more as it's against your policy, but good copies are out there that use a special program to download :) I hated going that route but Microsoft was being a pain and kept cutting my downloads off around 100MB. :/

A friend of mine downloaded and installed it and said it was really easy to set up and use.
He had a few programs that he had to go in set the compatibility to Windows Xp and it worked great!
Although the idea of having to go through Windows Live for emails kinda sounds sucky to me .
I have a hotmail account and I don't care for it at all.
