Must Have Sims 2 Expansion and Stuff Packs in Sims 3

What do you feel are must-have Sims 2 Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs in Sims 3? What need to be in there?

Me... A fixed pets. Ones that stop digging holes.

I must say that pets is much better then unleashed. I almost didn't buy pets because of the bunnys in the gardens and the pets sitting in the street scratching themselves!

The must have EP for me would have to be seasons. It's going to be so strange going back to eternal spring.

Seasons would probably be at the top of my list for sure. It was a lot of fun playing in the snow. Plus I'd love to see what sunset valley looks in the snow!! Or seeing our Sims skate on a pond :D

You know I wonder if they are going to have open for business since they sort of added that to the base game. It's my understanding that you can own a business but not have the responsibility of it's daily maintenance. Maybe they think that's what most player would prefer. I hope not because with so many people still wanting to go to work with their sim and the continuous aging an OFB type ep would be the way to satisfy those players.

Since I've heard that they are not adding seasons and weather, an Season's Expansion pack is a must have.

The Sims 3 looks really awesome, but I still can not stand the thought of my Sims living through constant sunshine and summer. (I hate summer so much so I especially hate the idea of it.)

My advice to you would be DON'T MOVE TO TEXAS. We've been known to wear shorts and t-shirts to Christmas dinner. LOL

Move to Australia then, it's summer all year round!

It was 80 degrees the other day.

Perhaps the reason why I hate summer so much is that I'm just sick of warm/hot weather, it dominates here... Even during the winter. And during the summer it is ALWAYS hot and humid.

I don't have to move down the Texas to wear shorts on Christmas, lol. It's happened a few times... Specifically within the last few years. We haven't had a white Christmas for like 10 years.

    seasons! my favorite EP.

bon voyage… I love building hotels :D every time I took/take (this uncertainty is a result of "the sims 3 expectation disorder" – I don't really know if I will play TS2 again except when I'm actually playing) a family on vacation I build new hotels..

    and apartment life.

about uni: not everyone leaves home to go to college. it would be nice if sims could have the option to go away to college or go to college but remain in their families households, with their families. uni was ok at the beginning but after a while and some generations later, for me, it became boring to go and play in another neighbourhood, interrupt the game in the main neighbourhood..

I'm going to have to agree with the majority and say seasons.

I moved out of Southern California because I wanted to experience something other than warm and sunny all year long. The same goes for my sims. They enjoy seeing the weather change, lol

Other then that, I wouldn't mind seeing pets again. I enjoy the idea of my sims owning pets. Although I do get tired of all the random strays that show up and make a mess of the place.

Anything else, I'm not really sure off the top of my head. Hopefully, EA comes up with some fun new ideas that we haven't seen before.

I love seasons...especially the summer time when my sim can get a tan...

My sims preferred getting a sunburn

My sim got a sunburn once...looked so funny, but tans are kind of neat to see for a few sim days...especially when they are on vacation.

I wonder if our Sims in Sims 3 can get their hair bleached from the sun :D

Oh yea! I would love that! My hair got bleached to a golden brown when I was a kid since I was out in the sun swimming all the time...now it's back to black.

I used to have natural blond highlights when I was living on the beach. Now that I am in Seattle, my hair is brown.

On a sims note, lol... I think hair highlights would be a really neat feature. Not really a crazy idea either.
