Shortly there after the poor fireman was eaten alive by vicious Koala bear! Just kidding! :ducks: Kinda brings the original story of Smokey the Bear to mind!
There is an update now: "Sam" the Koala is actually a girl and is doing great and even has a boyfriend now while she's in rehab. The sad part is that Sam was actually injured not in the wildfires part but in the controlled burning to help stop the wildfires. Necessary to save lots of wildlife, but still kind of sad that it's how she got burned.
