New American Idol Season! Anybody watching? Or have any thoughts... My current thoughts. Um...this season's selections suck. Last season was a total powerhouse. Forget that there was David Cook and David Archuleta. The Top 10 were simply amazing no matter what. Even the folks who got eliminated like David Castro was spectacular.
You know, I remember thinking that at the beginning of last season too but it turned out pretty good. (although I was never a fan of Jason Castro) They get better as the show goes on with the training. Personally I'm already a HUGE fan of Danny Gokey. I'm not sure I'm liking how they are doing the voting off these next 3 weeks though, from the commercials it looks like only the top 3 from each show go on? So what happens if best 10 are spread out between 2 groups and the 3rd group is all sub par? That sucks for those who actually have the talent but because they are stuck with other talented people won't go forward.
