Introducing.... Miss Aydia Rae! Born at 1:24 AM on 2/28/2009 after a VERY short and easy labor of 4.5 hours. 8 lbs 9 oz and 20 inches long! She has quite the pair of lungs on her already but we're both very much in love. She looks quite a bit like her Daddy! I have one picture uploaded so far, it's a crappy cell phone picture, but there will be more to come. Brandon went home to get the USB cord for the camera.
Thanks everyone! Things have been super busy since she arrived. She's pretty dramatic; there is no warm up cry! I'm completely in love though! Oh, and her name is pronounced Ay-dee-ah: like the Sarah Mclachlan song Adia. Couple more pictures as well.
She's a cutie all right! Nice name too but for some reason the first pic won't open for me. I'll try later and see if it does!
HAHAHAHAHA.... This is my day: Screaming hungry baby; feed said baby for 30-45 minutes, baby sleeps for hour on my chest or dad's chest. Change diaper and endure more screaming because we DESPISE diaper changes and hand to Dad or put in vibrating bouncer. Attempt to use the bathroom, brush teeth or get dressed. Come back, calm down baby. 10 minutes later she decides she's hungry again...repeat cycle. At some point when daddy is holding her attempt to eat or take a shower. During the night she sleeps for about 3 hours at a time. About 3-4 times a day she stays awake after eating and just looks around. Smiles don't normally start until about 4-5 weeks. I'm looking forward to that time when her personality starts to come through. Right now it's just a lot of dramatics! She's going to be a handful! Check out the screaming pictures...
