Constant Crashing My sims worked fine, for a long time. I'm on a laptop (i don't know if that makes a difference) I have sims delux and sims seasons, and both were okay for like months. All of a sudden it started crashing on me, and its hard to make a family and the cut scenes are almost impossible to get to. If i can load the game, within the hour it crashes. I never downloaded anything for the Sims 2, does anybody know why it's doing it?
When was the last time that you did a disc cleanup and defrag? If the game had been working well, sometimes it's just gotten badly fragged and that will cause all sorts of problems (no matter how good your system is.)
