Email - My complaint about WorldSims

I thought I'd share this complaint letter I got in my inbox today.... sigh

In this letter, I plan to discuss WorldSims's refractory endeavors quite extensively. Note that the details aren't pleasant. In fact, they're shocking. But I feel that people who don't know what WorldSims is up to certainly need to be shocked. One of the first facts we should face is that WorldSims uses vulgar language and makes obscene gestures at those whose opinions differ from its. Now that that's cleared up, I'll continue with what I was saying before, that it wants us to believe that we can solve all of our problems by giving it lots of money. We might as well toss that money down a well because we'll never see it again. What we will see, however, is that to get even the simplest message into the consciousness of ridiculous bums it has to be repeated at least fifty times. Now, I don't want to insult your intelligence by telling you the following fifty times, but every time WorldSims tells its cultists, who are legion, that its activities are on the up-and-up, their eyes roll into the backs of their heads as they become mindless receptacles of unsubstantiated information, which they accept without question.

Just because WorldSims and its foot soldiers don't like being labelled as "silly, malignant rascals" or "lubricious anarchists" doesn't mean the shoe doesn't fit. Let's get reasonable; WorldSims is always prating about how a plausible excuse is a satisfactory substitute for performance. (It used to say that it's okay if its holier-than-thou attitudes initially cause our quality of life to degrade because "sometime", "someone" will do "something" "somehow" to counteract that trend, but the evidence is too contrary so it's given up on that score.) WorldSims's "I'm right and you're wrong" attitude is larcenous because it leaves no room for compromise. WorldSims's favorite tactic is known as "deceiving with the truth". The idea behind this tactic is that it wins our trust by revealing the truth but leaving some of it out. This makes us less likely to rise to the challenge of thwarting WorldSims's noisome plans.

WorldSims seeks scapegoats for its own shortcomings by blaming the easiest target it can find, that is, disingenuous, illiterate skinflints. The biggest supporters of WorldSims's neo-flighty ruses are bestial storytellers and doctrinaire crooks. A secondary class of ardent supporters consists of ladies of elastic virtue and cosmopolitan tendencies to whom such things afford a decent excuse for displaying their fascinations at their open windows. Admittedly, WorldSims would have you believe that we can change the truth if we don't like it the way it is. But that's because if anti-intellectualism were an Olympic sport, it would clinch the gold medal. WorldSims will do everything in its power to heat the cauldron of terror until it boils over into our daily lives. No wonder corruption is endemic to our society; wherever you look, you'll see WorldSims enforcing intolerance in the name of tolerance. You'll see it suppressing freedom in the name of freedom. And you'll see it crushing diversity of opinion in the name of diversity.

Ironically, WorldSims argues that I am birdbrained for wanting to maximize our individual potential for effectiveness and success in combatting it. I should point out that this is almost the same argument that was made against Copernicus and Galileo almost half a millennium ago. WorldSims is wrong, at least insofar as this essay is concerned. Here, I am merely trying to advance the opinion that not only does WorldSims shock and stampede the public into accepting total fascist tyranny, but it then commands its satraps, "Go, and do thou likewise." I insist that if stated outright, WorldSims's Ponzi schemes would be manifestly unpopular. Deal with it. WorldSims has frequently been spotted making nicey-nice with clumsy prevaricators. Is this because it needs their help to pollute the great canon of English literature with references to its hidebound pranks? I've never gotten a clear and honest answer to that question from WorldSims. But what is clear is that I want to see all of us working together to ask it to rephrase its criticisms in a more reasoned way. Yes, this is an idealistic approach to actualizing our restorative goals. Nevertheless, you should realize that when I observe WorldSims's protégés' behavior, I can't help but recall the proverbial expression, "monkey see, monkey do". That's because, like it, they all want to numb the public to the sadism and injustice in mainstream politics. Also, while a monkey might think that the Eleventh Commandment is, "Thou shalt fuel inquisitions", the fact remains that on several occasions I have heard it state that it is beyond reproach. I am not able to rightly apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a comment. What I consider far more important though is that WorldSims's squibs will cause more harm than good—and WorldSims knows it.

Who is WorldSims to decide what is morally acceptable for us and what is not? Contrary to the Rousseauian ideal of the transparency of the general will to itself, if WorldSims can't stand the heat, it should get out of the kitchen. Although WorldSims occasionally exhibits a passable simulacrum of rationality, its idiotic claim that the Earth is flat is just that, an idiotic claim. The bottom line is that I cringe at the thought of how WorldSims might some day engulf the world in a dense miasma of vandalism.

Actually, I find the writing style to resemble brilliance more closely than madness.

Content, on the other hand, is a different story.

That's what you do every year Flamey. It also explains why you disappear from the world for the days of April 1st, and 2nd :p

Yes, the 2nd is also required due to American webmasters trying to trick everyone. :p
