Creating a neighbourhood? Ok so I got the game today and have been having fun getting used to the controls in summerview, but I wanna make a new neighbourhood all of my own. I figured it must be possible cos of the drop down menu at the start, but can't seem to find a way to do it. Maybe I'm just being blind but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
As far as i understand it we can not build a our own neighborhoods without a tool from Ea. Who knows when or if they will release that tool to the public. At the moment all you can do is bulldoze the existing lots and make it the way you want it set up that way.
I'm wondering though at least if we could clone existing neighborhoods though.. I haven't figure that out yet. I remember in Creator's Camp we could do that with a few mouse clicks.
Well you can copy a town, or edit it as much as possible. But you can't really make your own neighborhood. Not until EA release a tool.

I did find, on MTS2 I think, the towns without the homes, just blank lots and the community bits. I've downloded them but haven't played them yet. If anyone's interested and they are not at MTS2 let me know and I'll find them for download for you. Aaaargh!
