   tears for sims 3
   
   i have had my 12 year old daughter in tears as sims 3 will not even start! no icons, no nothing and the instruction booklet is useless. what is going on? tried it on a 3 months old laptop and it wont finish loading. help!

   I presume you've installed The Sims 3. If so, what happens when you launch The Sims 3 shortcut on your Desktop?
   
   Could you also provide us with your system specifications? We prefer a dxdiag report.
