Package installer HELP Hey I try to download objects of the sims main website and the basic way that Iv'e know to install these items is the package installer, but everytime i try to do this it says pack installer unexpectedly quit, I don't know any other way to download / Install items
There are some workarounds like over at More Awesome Than You (just don't expect any friendly advice over there) as the most of them there hate the launcher with a passion and use a tool that J.M. Pescado has over there. I believe there's a tool over http://forum.jfade.com/ you might look into also. You might recieve a little friendlier help there than MATY. I'm not sure if you can uninstall the launcher and reinstall it again off the game disk in case it's gotten corrupted somehow.
