Why hasn't everyone changed to WPA2 yet? Though to be honest many of my neighbors are using WEP and some even have open networks. Free downloading!
Actually, I haven't tried to get any signals from my roof yet... add a directional antenna and who knows how far I can send and receive signals! Not sure if the USA has the same laws as here, but "Open" networks are not completely illegal to use. Of course cracking WEP should only be used for auditing, and not for getting free internet access.
