    question on filenames.

my question is . when making theme type skins what do the filenames have to have in common to link heads /w bodies, bodies with skins or textures.

so they correspond with each other in game..ex: eds face goes wth eds body and clothes

Skins have to be named starting with the name of the MESH they use. like B004 or something like that would be one of the Maxis meshes. Then after the mesh name it should say F for female or M for male, and A for adult or C for child, then fat, fit, or skn for Fat, Fit, or Skinny body type, and finally lgt, med, or drk for Light, Medium, or Dark skin tone. Then after all the INFORMATION part of the name, put an underscore _ and then YOUR name you made up for that outfit, like something like this: B002MAfitlgt_EdsBody.bmp

If you want to be sure the face is used with that skin, give it a similar name, like you're saying. But since players can choose the body and head separately, I don't think you would have to do anything special with the name to keep them together, since that wouldn't happen unless you made it for a NPC. Hope this helps! :bunny:
