What would YOU like to see? The team and I have been buried in meetings pretty much the last four weeks. We've been analyzing a series of decisions in terms of platform. We're starting to lean one way, but we're still uncertain. In the meanwhile, we're beginning to reassess our commitments to WorldSims and Urban Online Entertainment. We've come a long way from a small little HTML site, and thus we felt it would be appropriate to examine what we're going to do as we enter 2010. 2009 was a year of experimenting and while it wasn't intended that way, we did gather a lot of interesting observations and information. We're hoping to use that information and little smaller experimental projects to bring our new site up. As we also go into topics for our sites, we're looking to you the members to pitch some ideas about what you'd like to bring here. I've noticed we have a bit of an iPhone following, and I am extremely tempted to bring some of that into our site. So what do you have in mind for this site?
I intend to keep spamming threads like I always do ! Just so you think I haven't gone to being anything different than I am now! :ducks:
Wait... game titles? How about when will Cities XL finally roll out the market? Or a dedicated forum to Resident Evil? Brand new subjects that could be rolled out: education issues, SC4 projects and showcase, computers and health issues, evolution of cellphones, natural disasters... there's quite a lot of topics, just help me out! And btw, I'm looking forward to the new site too.
Anyone following Starcraft 2? We're thinking of adding that onto our list On my personal list of things to talk about here on the network and cover too -The Sims 3 -The Sims 2 (what's left of it anyways ) -Spore -Cities XL -SimCity 4 -iPhones and other Apple Products (JOHN! I NEED YOUR HELP ON THIS ONE!! ) -Computers/Technology -Starcraft 2
If you're going to follow Starcraft 2 then don't forget Diablo 3. How's about Dragon Age:Origins too? What exactly are you thinking of when you say computers and technology?
Are you volunteering to do Diablo 3, Steve? I was thinking of doing some basic reporting from the computing perspective. I have quite a few connections in the industry from Intel, AMD, and so forth. I've been working with them for about ten or so years, so I thought I might expand on it a bit
Well IF I was it will still be at the least a year or two until D3 is released! At the moment though I'm busy playing Dragon Age:Origins.
