What's New 2010? So what's new with everyone for 2010? We had a huge amount of rain dumped on us this week. About 10 inches worth. Lots of thunderstorms, lightning. Even a tornado warning ...
Brrr... too cold up here in NorCal, going down to the mid-30s later (too cold for San Francisco's standards)... I'm wearing 3 layers right now to keep myself warm! Anyways, new in 2010: studies, tutoring, volunteering... Studies being everyday in the mornings only (Monday to Friday, between 9:30am and noon), plus tutoring and volunteering in the afternoons. Also, excited to move to San Francisco State to finally start up my major (and hopefully whisk myself up to Ph.D.)
Well, as Josh said...tons of rain, had thunder. Plus the electricity went out a number of times....which hindered my research and assignments. Other than that, its just school, and more work. :biggrin:
Looks like CA has been battered with several storm systems the past week, with lots of damages, power cuts, and flooding... I don't know if the past week's rains is just a prelude of what's to come (meteorologists say that the rains are an effect of an active El Nino cycle).
Oh no! Midterms, midterms, MIDTERMS? Really? Take your time to study first, Josh! Anyways, I'm still tutoring lots of kids in the afternoon (from around 4-6), with Spanish help from an interpreter, and what I tutor is just one subject: maths.
