New question re moving packaged lots I have packaged a number of my favorite lots, some empty, some with people. Do the people stay in the package? Can they be moved to the bin and place elsewhere or even in a different neighborhood. I think it happened to me once by accident (Brandi Broke and Beau and the new baby I named Jody--Dustin had already moved out.) I know hhow to find the packaged lots in my files, just don't know what or how to deal with them to bring them into the game. Maybe even move some of them to the more sparsely populated RiverBlossom. These are not totally created by me, they are houses already there when the game start and that I've done major renovations to and furnished but most are empty. Thanks!
I'm pretty sure you can do it but the files will be huge sizes if you do it. I'm not sure about swapping them to a different hood though.
Okay, thanks. After reading some links you posted on another question. I think I've already done a number of things wrong so I guess I'll just have to live with the game as it is. I have a fairly new PC and Vista instead of XP and don't feel I really know what I'm doing with it, so I'm not comfortable moving things around (I'm not a teen, obviously, but an old coot who just barely has a handle on all things pc. Ambitious but no guts!) Appreciate your answer. Maybe I'll work up my nerve later...
