True. In Europe Livin' Large = Livin' it Up Vacation = On Holiday Simcity 3000U = Simcity 3000WE *sighes and shakes her head* I don't think it's necessary to change names for somw parts of the world.
What does the "WE" in Sim City 3000WE stand for??? I guess U is for Unlimited?? I haven't actually ever seen the 3000 version of sim city....
They probably did it for "cultural" reasons, like I think they call it going on holiday instead of going on vacation... but I think we have enough contact with each other's expressions now that it would have worked well enough with the original titles....
Lew. I can install all simspacks in swedish if I want to. Sima are translated into several european languages. German, Swedish, Spanish and some more - don't remember. All the different languages are on the same CD. So all those things, commands etcetera you have in english I can get in swedish. personally I choose english. Same with Simcity.
hmmm.... now I'm having insane ideas like changing the language option to Spanish in my game so I can learn more Spanish.... I'd probably do better learning at Spanish Sims sites though!!
In Sims?? You can't. You have to choose the language when you install it. :classic: Personally I prefer english.
The only other type of difference I have heard of between the two versions is the side of the road the vehicles drive on and I think the paved road color, or something like that.
