Townie dies in fireworks accident Columbus,Indiana (Reuters) The grand opening of Waterfront Buffet was cut short at 2 PM today, by a tragic fire caused by a faulty rocket. As it fired into the air, the rocket malfunctioned, striking Yves, a local townie, on the shoulder and setting her on fire. An intense swirl of flames roared around her as she fell. Others at the scene looked on in panic. They had no clue how to respond. When asked why they didn't summon firefighters to help, Pam responded Can we call the fire department from here? It's never been done before has it? Do they care about the downtown? Eventually the incarnation of Death arrived on the scene, to collect the body. Death, Zane, replied There are no smoke detectors at the World Buffet. If they had been installed with the fireworks set, a life could have been spared. The owner of Waterfront Buffet made only one statement A death is always tragic, but my business suffered too. We lost thousands in sales and landscaping fees. Who will remove this tombstone? Another Column on the gossip page.... Newbies Dog on the rampage Little ol' Spotty has been a Newbie since he was a little pup...but alas hes a pup no more. Yesterday Mortimer Goth and Michael Bacherlor were taken to Simcity Hospital for Rabies Injection after ol Spotty viciously attacked and bit Mortimer at 3.15 pm Sim time....Spotty attacked his next victim Michael just another hour later...Rumors say that Spotty was trained by Betty to attack other simtizens as she was jealous of Bobs close friendship with them. Betty Was hauled away to Simcitys Police HQ for further investigation into the matter, but the emotional damage has been done. We only hope this matter will be cleared up soon.
Oh dear, what will happen next? Will any visitor to the Goth's end up in vicious dog attack? I guess that I will keep my friends from going over until further details are out. :classic:
