Sims having twins? My sim had a baby... When it turned into a child, TWO kids appeared... I've been playing Sims ever since the first one came out and I havent seen anything like this... Does anyone know of a patch I can get or whats going on with it? Its weird... It lets me control only one of them... The one I can contol doesn't do the actions, the other does. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance!
wow...sounds interesting to me... why dun you try getting the patch for your particular sim game? maybe it would help..?
It is a rare happening that actually started with the first The Sims. The second one is a clone of the first one. To get rid of the second one you need to click on the original one that you can control so you know which one it is. Now, use the move_objects on code and delete the clone. Presto! Only the original remains. It can also happen with the pets in Unleashed. :classic:
Bug....was never fixed but it is a cool bug. MIght be neater if someone can figure out a way to control it
ah HAH!!! THat happened to me too!!! I have a "ghost" twin, I was calling it, of a girl in the family with 2 kids, she eats snacks all the time and makes a mess, and blocks people, and gets the food first etc. REALLY kind of funny trying to work around her! I ended up putting a third bed in the childrens' room. I do know HOW this second child from one baby happened though, if anyone else wants to try it and see if it happens for them, have fun! I was trying to capture that "magical moment" where the baby crib turns into a kid, so I paused the game at the moment the bright colors started to appear, I went to photo mode, took my pics, and then when I went back to normal mode and unpaused it, I had TWO of the same girl, in the same dress!! It's bothersome because I can see the queue of girl 1, which I can't control, and can cause actions of girl 2, which I can't see the queue for! I forget which one shows up in the faces in the family, but only one of them does. This could be a freaky way of having a family with more than 8 members!
I have had this happen also... ut I noticed the one I CAN control has no personality... and the delete thing never worked for me I would delete the twin but it would come back once I clicked on the face...
hmmm interesting... I hadn't tried deleting my twin yet... now I wonder if it wouldn't work? Has anyone had this and SUCCESSFULLY managed to delete the twin?!
You have to make sure that it is the clone that you are deleting. If you delete the original, it will come back by clicking on the face. The easiest way to make sure it is the clone, is to have the original highlighted so the other is the one to delete.
