Cool! Do you know how to play already or are you just now learning? I hear lots of people saying good things about Fender.
Oooooo, worlds theme song. Niiiice Actually i've been wating 10 years to get a new guitar, i've spent the last 10 years messing around on Mike's, so he's happy to get his back all to himself now. And yah! School by Nirvana w00t!
yeah only one sliiiiiight problem though. I picked up the wrong amp so i can't get any decent vibes. No rock on this amp sadly the store wont switch it for the right amp so tommorrow i have to go over to star sounds and check if they'll gimme a decent amp for the fender that i just got. (fenders are great but i got the wrong type, whups.)
sorry bout double posting but i might as wel put this in. I don't know how to record any sounds yet, i have a mic but for some reason there is no directory for it, so at the moment i don't know how to record in the same way as an actual studio, but when i figure out i might try something if you really want your own theme.
I hope the store can get you set up with the right amp!!! And can you do anything about getting the wrong type of Fender or will you just stick with it anyway? I can record sound on my computer as a .wav file using what comes with Windows, it's under Accessories. I found and downloaded a program that's supposed to convert .wav files to mp3s but I haven't messed with it yet to learn how!
I don't need to vchange my actuall guitar, the guitar kicks ***! But yah i'm sure the store can sort me out with the right amp.
yay! everything cleared up now, i kept the amp and got a foot pedal set which can switch the different sopunds i get. So i can change between playing for jazz, or acoustics or even edge. WOOHOO!
Have fun!! Can the foot pedal to that 70s "wa-wa" sound? For a very brief time I sang in a band and I had fun laughing at that effect when our guitarist was playing with the foot pedal he had...
heehee if he can play that on the guitar it can be done with or without a footpedal! I saw a lady play Flight of the Bumblebee on the footpedals of an organ once, THAT was exciting! I can't remember what that piece sounds like Josh, is it fast or slow? Chances are I've heard it at SOME point though... my mother used to play violin for various symphony orchestras... so I've been brainwashed with classical music, I just don't know many NAMES!! (like I don't know names for all the 80s music I'm addicted to either, isn't that terrible? )
Well, sugar jumkie will know this tune, but i can play school by nirvana without music sheets, i never had music sheets i just went by ear untill i got it right. Problem is i like to do my own thing so right now im just playin around oh yah, "wa wa" sound? i think so.......

lol nina i can do the intro to come as you are, and yes smells like teen spirit! But i can never get it just right, i always screw up at some point, once in a while i can get it but i've only ever done it perfectly once. You know you're right i have'nt tried yet, i'm thinking about it but know i just want to go onto my own music. Also i've lately been doing the riff at the beggining of "down" by 311. Lovin this guitar!
