I got my new guitar!

it's ok. Tess and I haven't got around to compile our song yet, and we started out months ago. :classic:

not entirely, i still screw up at parts, still trying to get it all perfect.

 

you played it by listenin to the tune and figurin it out on the guitar?

 

i treid that but did'nt get it exactly right so i had to turn to getting the right tabs from the internet. Some things are easy to figure out others are'nt :S

What other instruments can you play?
Maybe we could all get together one of these years and strike up a band...

 

Great idea Billie!!! You have no idea how long I've wanted to hear Tess and Grey play and sing. I have a distinct feeling that Tess has a beutiful voice and That grey is very very good at guitar. The above indicates that.

My daughter found she could record some stuff by making waw.-files within windows. She has a mike. So now she's busy playing with that. :classic: And finally I've got her recording with her friends. It's just a rough first "try-out", based on improvisations, but I think they really can make something out of it. :classic:

Tess, Grey.. Why not make small recordings and send to eachother and so you can do a song to Worldsims. All Windows have possibilities to ake waw-files. And maybe you both have a mic?

I see Tess. I think Lew knows where to get a mic cheap. I don't think they are that expensive at all. :classic:

 

Then why don't you get one? we still can't have voice convos or listen to music. :(

 

I know grey. I will wait to my new comp. it's hard enough to get money for the rest of the parts. But it's not sure it would work anyway. I don't know. I know I can receive pictures from a webcam on Yahoo, and there's a slim chance a voice convo can work on icq. But for the rest .. I have no idea.

I've got a microphone but I still have troubles with voice chats... haven't gotten to try it with the new computer though, we haven't added the microphone to it yet! So many little things we're still taking care of!

 

Have you tried checking out the local "Ham Fests"? by that I mean locate some Amateur Radio Persons who probably live somewhere near you and check out when/where they have their next 'Fest". You can find them using your computer just go to qrz.com and type in lyour location... The HamFests are open to any one, and you can find some really good mikes, computers, and Amateur Radio equipment there, both new and used...

 

Never tried it...I didnt know theres such a thing, then again i am in Singapore

 

coolest thing is i live next to a club (not so good when i want to get some sleep) but if i ever get a band together the manager said he'd get us a regular gig night there. paid. He's heard me play and said if i ever try to take up music proffesionally i know where to turn. But im not sure about that, still dont know what to do with my future yet.

Yes you did, but he liked what he heard right. So.... YOu just go one and take a lil at the time. I believe in you anyway. An I do think you're great. Ah aaaa.. noo protest :classic:
