Help !! Or maybe I am just had a brain fart Ok I have all the expantions except unleashed. I found some cars on the world sims site and downloaded them. Well when I added them to the game and tried to buy one I did but it wont let me put it on the road and if I put it in the yard it just usless and I can use it to go anywhere. Can anyone help me. And if I am ust dumb feel free to smack me in the back of the head
Your sim won't actually be able to GO anywhere in the car, I think... but if you want to put it in the road for added atmosphere, press shift + control + c to get the text box to type the code in, (just like for rosebud) and instead of rosebud type move_objects on and hit enter. Then go to build or buy mode where you have the hand cursor, and pick up the car and it will let you place it in the street. Tah dah! Have fun!
You can put them into on the street. but you need to make sure and not block the carpool or the school bus, if you have kids in the family. The cars are only for looks, and some of them you can wash. What I do is to make a driveway for mine.
