    Making my first skin!

After all this time, I finally decided I wanted to make a skin. I didn't get to finish the head yet, but I did the body. It's a variation on the belly dancer outfit from the costume trunk. The idea is that I want to make things in Mardi Gras colors and costumes with matching masks on the heads. I didn't bring a saved copy of it home with me, though, so the only existing files are still on FaeLuna's computer. If anybody is interested in seeing it, ask her.

Fae wasn't sure if I would have fun doing it because it takes so long and I'm not known for having patience, but I have a lot more patience when it's something I *want* to do instad of something I *have* to do. I really want to eventually make somehting like a whole set for a masked ball, but I don't see myself ever getting to the point where I'd put up my own page of downloads or anything. I've got so much else I'm doing right now that trying to add that might make it feel like an obligation... and then I'd lose patience with it. :)

I'm working on trying to figure out if/how we can make a dress-up trunk with ONLY our user-created costumes!!!! ;)

You could use Milkshape 3D to make the pants..

Is Milkshape 3D the program for making meshes? FaeLuna's in charge of that. But I had fun playing with SimPose to see what the skin looked like on different meshes... then making one of them do the hokey pokey... it was really late by that time. :D
