But a question would be whether a watch would evolve? Considering that overtime, it does get beaten up and the wrist bands conform to your hand. Is that evolving?

A watch is not an organic being. It has no personality, no ability to think, no ability to do anything at all. I had a watch once that was right twice in 24 hours. Now I don't have one. I never wear a watch.
Computers will, one day, be made of enzymes, or something else that is alive. When that happens maybe thaey will think for themselves and, maybe, they will evolve.
