Guess the new feature pool

the new feature is about archtecture...3d planning or blue print building houses in sims 2 will be different than in the original sims
instead of building walls on the lot inself, you will use a 3d planner or blue print to construct the house and add whatever specifications such material, floors, where stairs will be, windows and doors, plus you can edit the plan at anytime, add new rooms, change the layout, add on new floors, construct a roof, etc. i think it will be a 3d building tool for constructing house. that is my guest this plan can also be use to design the interior of the house too.

also after you finish making all specifications the game engine will draw a 3d plan or actually buildor construct the house for you, haha

If it is not a 3d blue print... than it might apartments rental feature...this doesn't seem very revolutionary to me...but it might very well be apartments...i asked this question at the last chat on sim 2 univerisity, an i notice this question wasn't answered by anyone at the chat...but i think more than likely it is the 3d planning to construct, change and decorate house

The new feature will be online capability. You will be able to have your own server or join someone else's and hang with other sims.

that'd be cool. it would be even cooler to go with your teenage sims to school.

Any of the features I can think of have already been said here... The going to work with your sims might be it, but I don't see how it could work if you have more than one sim with a job.

When do you think you'll be able to tell us the new feature, Josh?

 

Hmm...on The sims 2 BBS,you said something to do with math. I think it will have to do with school or maybe doing homework. Oh yeah,and Josh,check your e-mail!!

 

maybe the minigame things like in The Sims Online? where the main panel on the bottom turns into the game panel with the buttons and such. then you do the homework there or something along those lines?

 

I remember something I thought was official saying something about archetecture... so I hope that turns out to be right!

eh, as much as id like that feature simzer, i dont think its gonna happen anytime soon. maybe an expansion if were lucky.

 

It would be easy, just buy one from buy mode, place it in a driveway, then click go to work on it, it will pull out of the driveway and go. Yeah, your right, it probably won't be in Sims2, maybe an exp or Sims3...

 

Sometimes you people worry me talking about sims 3 when sims 2 isn't even out yet!

Getting back on track... I don't think cars have enough to do with math, compasses, cinematography etc. type things.... I can't remember it all but Josh posted words that were hints!

I'm still leaning toward the new feature having to do with archetecture and/or making the videos of your sims with camera angles and stuff....

 

It would be cool if you could create your own animations in some wizard guide etc, and then say like you create your animation in a simple program like SimPose (Awesome Program, I've made a Spinning back kick on that!), and then you just add what possible reactions someone might get from a list of animations already in the game, who knows you may even add an animation so that they like having there *** wupped...or create your own responses. It would be cool to try out the spinning back kick online though...

 

Being able to create our own animations using the same program Maxis used to create them would be REALLY great!! But I'm not sure that's what the clues sound like...

*tries desperately to make hints like compass and mathematics fit into this newest theory!*

Holy Sh** Tetris, i think your right!!!!!!!!, all those words corespond to animations, so personaly i think your right, sorry Faeluna, but i REALLY think its going to be creating your own animations, no offence.
