The Sims 2 Radio I would just like to know if you think a live streaminfg radio is a good idea to be based on The Sims 2. main reason is cuz being a shoutcast junkie myself, id like to incorporate a radio station in many games i play (mainly mmorpg's for the most part). and what i had figured is my current station (pokeradio) is for an online Pokemon game. but, with the last couple pokemon games like this being shutdown, im not making any certainties that the current one will make it to release. so, if it happens to flop, id figured about moving my station over and most likely changing the name if needed. vote and comment. and plz post constructive cristicism.
I voted for no, because The sims is just a game about emotions, and it wouldn't be the sims with it. Plus, have you heard the crap they listen to? Even their Rock sounds like crap. Plus the fact that we wouldn't understand a word the DJ says (unless he's talking our language). i can understand the fun in it, but I just dont think it will fit.
it sounds like a good idea, but i dont wuite understand what we would actually be listening to, i mean are you talking about playing the same songs we have already heard thousands of times already or are you talking along the lines of maybe creating some new type of music with the sims feel... so get back to me on that, i am very interested in your idea
no. really its gonna be just about everything. it will have bits of sims music here and there but mainly real music like pop, rock, country, etc. and it will provide news about the sims community constantly.
I always wanted to put songs in my game so the sims radio played a bunch of songs that reminded me of the sims game in some way... like there's one that goes "I am the eye in the sky, looking at you, ooh I can read your mind..." and other songs like that. I think those would be great to have streaming radio stations playing! I could message in requests!
