Ever wonder how many days in sim life... ITS HERE!!!

Hey altec_tech- i'm new to this whole World Sims thingo but I think u rock. Ur really smart at algebra!!!! I think your about right- as a teen- 32 days is enough time 2 fall in love, get a job and have your 1st kiss too. Anyway i just wanted to say- i admire u. Cya later- P.S- U ROCK!!!

WOW!! Thanks a lot Peace! I appreciate your praise about my Algebra I like it when there are smart people in this forum that understand things instead of hold their ears and eyes shut and bash anyone who talks.

 

you DO remmeber that luc said you can control aging from the house level (i'm guessing options)
which technically means you can change length of one sim year from 4 days to.. infinite! and i already figured out a sim year was about 4 sim days, LONG before you realized. so you're not the first... just the first to make a bug public display... and i'm not blaming you for stealing my idea... more like thanks for making me not have to type all that you did

 

No no no.... I found out not just how many days in sim year but talking about how many days in each stage of life, and thus, their span.

 

Sometimes it is not what you say, but how you say it, that's what ticks people off altec_tech. I myself figure the life span the same way you did it. But i do applaud you for taking the time to post it here for all to see.

In any case, its cool to know the life span of our sims... I never really gave it much thought until reading this post today. So thanks to all who figured it out so I didnt have to think it all out myself lol

now uve got everything right altec-tec but IMO the lifespan will be a quite more complicated equation, based on the lifescore, maybe DNA, but quite surely the number of exercise, the general average mood every day, etc. :chinese:

Yes. I am saying that will probably be an avg. But, I do know if the sim (actually I don't KNOW but I figure) that if a sim is overweight they might die sooner. Or if the sim has a low life score. Or if the sim is engulfed in flames...

 

Yes, I'd agree that if your sim is engulfed in flames their life span just MIGHT be considerably shorter! hahahaha!!!! (great sense of humor there altec_tech! )

 

This begs the question. Can sims commit suside without the player starving them or removing the ladders from the pool?

I've been wondering that ever since I heard of Sims 2. Unfortunately I doubt that they will allow a sim to do that (as it may push the rating to M).

 

Everyone hates those stupid rating companies, I mean they rate kids movies PG witw? (what in the world?)

 

IMO I think that since you even went thru great lenghs with ur equation then u should b credited...Altec I think your findings are amazing...but ppl r allowed to stress their opinion but plz not in a (-) way
