The sims 2 is great idont get people that donot care!!!!!!!!!! Now in the sims 2 there is a basment there is also 4 stories i cant belive it its has wonderful graphics it has a wondurful story its THE SIMS 2 . Wake up people that dont care are you crazy or something get the picture its wondurful its soo the sims2 stop saying it will be like thesimsville and it will not come OK:mads: _________________________ people am i that boring:disappointed:
problem is, the majority of the people here have been waiting since summer of last year for the sims 2. and since that time the release date has been pushed back so many times. thats why people dont care. cuz all they see is the release being pushed back some more.
I think a lot of the people who are frustrated and angry about the game seeming to take way too long to come out just don't know what goes into making a computer game, and wouldn't be as upset if the company hadn't mis-calculated when the game WOULD be finished. I've started pretending it's "supposed" to be out "sometime" this year... and trying not to feel bad if it looks like it'll take longer.
I just recently found out about this game's release. Can't wait to play it. I make maps for UT2004 and it takes a month to make a map with the textures and meshes already made, and if you have to make your own it takes two to three times as long. Making games is a lot of hard work even for a very large team.
This may sound harsh but the people who are so frustrated and desperate for this game to come out and make threads flaming and shouting need to get a life, theres more to life than a computer game and I'm suprised that people get so emotional over it, The Sims 2 will come out when it comes out in the meantime I have got toher things to do e.g. School, holiday, friends, sports. Rant done.
I found that most of the good games are worth waiting for. I waited a long time for Age of Mythology, and Unreal Tournament 2004. I also waited for other games such as Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. It's exciting once you get the game home and start playing it. Can't wait.
I hate to say it but, when I heard of the delay a few months ago...(can't remember exactly when) I was ticked. LOL. I even stopped posting here!!! Not intentionally of course... but my interest had lessened... I'd check in every once in a while... but then again, I had other fish to fry at the time sooo.... Basically, it's all about people's interest... they get so excited over something and then are told they can't have it and that results in mixed feelings. For me, I was more mad at the fact they gave out a "release date" when they should have kept progress on the DL until they knew for sure when they could release it... Besides that, I was still psyched about the game, just placed my interests in other things for the time being.
