New Landscape Screenshots!

I'm THRILLED to see ANGLED flowerbeds!!! I've always wanted to do more with the layout of flowers in the gardens, and I hated the empty corner by angled walls, where it left a triangle gap in my flowers! I also love how the rose bushes look alone or grouped together, it looks more like a rose hedge effect.

The new stairs on the sloped terrain is great, but I just wondered how the sims will react when you tell them to go somewhere or interact with something up or down a slope... will they walk directly up the slopes on the grass, or will they have to walk to the stairs to go up or down?

The desert courtyard is great but the blue visible around the edges in the first picture makes me wonder if it's a single object, like a pond or rug is a single object?

There must be a sand and dirt tile thing as well yeah! I wonder if sims will mind if I write "I'm with stupid" with the arrow pointing to their house.

 

Speaking of sand and dirt, I wonder if we'll have to keep making "bare" areas where we don't want grass by using the grass growing tool to bring the grass down... over and over... as it DOES slowly grow back in sims 1... or will it let you set bare areas and forget about them?
