Are you allowed to show it? It's a little disappointing, actually, since the sims 1 expansions had art on them. Maybe the packaged for sale version will have graphics and not just logos.
Does that small text say it's a joke or something? I could do that in photoshop. Once I turned my sister into a bulldog and entered it in an art show. i really wish I still had that file. I think she deleted it.
OK, obviously none of you got the Sims 2 preview CD that comes with Makin' Magic, because thats the CD!
Except the only things different is that a big silver box at the bottom has been removed saying EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PREVIEW thats was proprably removed in paint or something and also it should say disk three
That's odd because I *did* get that CD (it's in front of me now) and mine has a white background with a large "Sims2" logo, a diamond, the EA Games and ESRB symbols as it's only nontext graphics and for the text it has "Sneak Preview CD". Was the preview disc different for different people? (I much prefer mine over the one with the red background.)
yeah I know they had different CD's probrably dependeing on where you are. I have mine right here now aswel. Perhaps they did make the same CD cover, but I dont see why they'd be making CD's when they haven't finished the game?!
It could be a working copy meant just for E3. Not finished or ready for publishing, but handier for taking to the Expo. And with that red color, it would be easy to spot in a pile of other CDs. (I've noticed that a lot of computer people aren't as detail oriented about making sure to put the CD in a case when it's not in use. Bright colors come in handy.) Or the color could be a code so that if one goes missing they can track the pirating. (God forbid.)
My Sims 2 cd that came with Makin Magic is the same as KatAnubis describes. I think the red cd is either photoshopped, or a workprint type thing; I would think they would have to have the program burned to cd to take it to E3 and demonstrate! And I agree, red would make it easier to find in a stack!!
LOL. It just shows how easy it would be to fake someone out. Mirelly, you must be bored to have tried to do this. :winks:
Bored? Moi? Not really. I took longer to warm up the scanner than it did to paint over the silver bits ... like I said: it was tooo easy!
