Ooooh I love Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern books, Piers Anthony's Xanth books, C.S. Lewis Chronicles of Narnia, and I just finished re-reading David Eddings' Belgariad and Mallorean series (five books in each). I also love a ton of books by Alan Dean Foster, Peter David, and Charles De Lint, and Robert Asprin (M.Y.T.H. Inc. and also the Phule series especially), and Terry Pratchet (Discworld series).... There are WAY too many to think of right now... I have HUNDREDS of books, I LOVE them... I have six bookcases currently filled with books and we took one down and packed away a lot of them we weren't reading at the moment....
I like Anne McCathry but I also like the Harry Potter series and Eragon, by Christopher Paoloni! I greatly enjoy the series of unfortunate events by Lemony Snicket, and the Artemis Fowl series, by Eoin Kolfer or whatever his name is! Sorry if I murdered any spellings!
Some of my favorite books are by Tom Clancy (Patriot Games, Red Rabbit, etc.) and Michael Crichton (Jurassic Park and Prey.) I don't really read that much as most of the books I try aren't that interesting in the first 100 pages - so I don't give them a chance.
Haha, actually, I kind of like her too! I read a few Hercule Poirot (spelling?!) books I loved... it's just been a while since I read any Mystery genre books. I read some Stephen King too, as my sis in law suggested it, and I enjoyed that. I'm mainly into Fantasy and Science Fiction though.
I love the Harry Potter books and I've read the first one in Spanish too, as I'm using it to help me learn as I go. I've wanted to read the Lemony Snicket series but never got the chance. I'll have to look up the Eragon book, you've got me curious about that one now.
Eragon's great! It's a fantasy book and the kid who wrote it is incredibly talented if U ask me! I also like all of the books that I write... But they're similar to harry potter, they're about three friends in a magic school... But I think they're pretty different! Maybe I'll publish them someday!:cheeky: I also wrote a one act play called wedding rituals. My family and I had a great time acting it out in our spare time! Particularly since there were only 4 of us and like 20 charectors! It was fun though non the less!
Writing plays it fun! My brother and I used to write plays and act them out using barbie dolls since we had several of them to play different characters at the same time, and there were only two of us. My grandmother would patiently watch our productions....
