Although I'm hoping I have the same luck with this as with the Two Towers EE and it arrives on the release date Amazon is advertising which is only 20 days 12 hours and 42 minutes away!!!!!!!!

I just noticed that im posting at 12:00 every time i do this...
And umm, celebrine, the Two Towers EE has been out for the last year. In fact, I have it sitting next to me. Do you mean Return of the King EE?

 

No, I meant the Two Towers EE. When it came out last fall it arrived at my door the day before it was supposed to be released.

 

Oh, alright then. My pre-order actually says that the game will be in on the 14th, so i might get it 3 days earlier then everyone else. Just maybe.

Companies supplying stuff on pre-order obviously get the stuff shipped to them before the release date. Those of us who just plan on hitting the local supermarket/PCWorld will also expect to see the game on the shelves when we get there and we don't believe that a Santa-like magic elf has done the rounds of the planet at exactly midnight on the 16th.

So for TS2 the pre-orders will need to get to the likes of Amazon on the 14th; be packed and despatched on the 15th and will be (mostly) at your local post-office/parcel carrier on the 16th ready for delievery to your house on the 17th.
