Will this processor work for TS2?

    Woo! I was worried b/c this comp. was purchased in 2001, and the processor is the only thing I did not update. Guess I don't have to!

    I'm sims2 ready!! :)

    That processor will work as long as you have a T&L graphics card. If you have an Intel integrated card or a Radeon VE or 7000, or one of the other nonT&L card, then you'd need a minimum 2.0ghz processor to run the game.

    I have an ATI RADEON 9600 XT...

    So it should be fine.

    Ya i have the RADEON 9600 Pro and its a pretty good card...

    Yep it's OUTSTANDING and very reasonable. I'm so giddy to get the game and use the card.

    Yes, with that card and 1.7ghz you should be fine.
