Thunkconnect32? Hi, When ever i load The Sims 2, i get this error, "The procedure entry point ThunkConnect32 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL", and after, Sims 2 loads all the way to the EA logo and then my entire computer freezes up... What does this mean, and how can i fix it? Thanks.
hmm... it would help if you gave us what version of windows you have (98? me? 2000? xp?). You might have to re-install windows or use system restore to restore it to an earlier point. let us know if this helps
Thanks, i'll try to re-install or system restore. By the way, i have Windows XP and use NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX, (not sure if that will help).
Theres a good chance that you may have edited or deleted one of the system files by accident. Definately try what astare said. Copter.
you have windows xp so you can system restore easily. try going back progressively until you reach a point where you don't get the error anymore. if that doesn't work, install service pack 2 (that may fix the problem)... or as a last resort, re-install windows xp let us know what happens
