I love that the wardrobes are specialized....... but why should a shirt or pair of pants cost the same as a whole outfit?

I guess the economy in our sims neighborhoods are just expensive. :p

I still wish we could get shoes to be separate.... sigh... :)

I'm hoping that they add another category such as a differentiation between formal wear and what we had in Superstar with High Fashion.

I wish we could have shoes separate too. I don't want all my ladies wearing sandals most of the time. I would like some penny loafers, low heeled pumps, mary janes, sports shoes and the like. It would be nice not to have to alter the whole .bmp just for the shoes. It's a pain that we'd have to have the same outfit duplicated just for a change in shoes. (Must not have had a shoe lover working in that Maxis department to advocate for shoes as a separate accessory.

But I am *very* glad that you can have more than one formal, more than one exercise outfit, etc. The "whole catelog for everyday" and only one without going and buying it for the "special" clothes was a pain. I really like it much better that my Sim can only wear what he/she buys but what they buy stays in the wardrobe.

I need to remember to make an actual Bridal dress for my poor sims getting married, everyone looks great in their formalwear... but somehow I didn't anticipate my bride showing up wearing a slinky dark red dress! :p

I wonder... if enough fans mention it enough, do you think they might make shoes separate in the next expansion or something? ;)

    LOL!

It's a really good idea to have use the "plan outfit" to make sure that the bride does show up in a bridal gown. But I can just see her wearing that dark red number. ;)

I'm going through all the formalwear at SimStuff right now getting a more appropriate Bridal Gown, haha! :D

I had a sim get married and they wore a wedding dress not their designated formal dress. Unfortunatly you gut don't get to choose what their wedding dress will look like :disappointed:

Yep, they change into a different wedding dress and tux than the ones you have in formal (which irritated me since I had so carefully chosen the outfits for the couple. And had the entire wedding party in matching outfits.)

But it's probably like the maternity clothes.

Hopefully in a future EP they'll give us the option to have wedding and maternity clothes of our choosing (and better yet, of our making or downloading.)
