First of all, it's CTRL-ALT-c, not delete. Secondly, to exit from the cheat menu thingy, just hit the Escape key.
affirmedhope: ctrl-alt-delete will knock you out of your game and open the task manager. and to exit the cheat input box, either hit escape or type "exit" (without the quotes) and hit enter. also check out the topic holla posted about if you want more info on how people's experiences with the cheat codes are turning out. also check out http://www.snootysims.com/sims2cheats.php as this is a list of the available cheat codes
thats weird i use Ctrl+shft+c and then i type Kaching] must have the ] then i just keep pressing up and enter to get more money.. try it.. really easy way of getting LOTS of money without typing kaching in a million times!!!
I have problem enter the cheat. The cheat window never popup when I press Ctrl Shift C. Can anyone help me out.. Thanks
Ive had to do it slowly by hiting each of them seperetly instead of the same time like i did in TS1 otherwise it takes a snapshot for some reason lol
Hey, yes this is a verys stupid question, but when deleting one of your sims with the move obj code, how do you get the sim back?
it takes a while. It took me many tries to get the **** thing to work. I say just keep on pressing it even though you'll probably just keep on taking snap shots.
Icecoffee, do you have the caps lock pressed maybe? When you do hit CTRL-Shift-c , there is a very small white box appearing at the very top of the screen. It's easy to miss if you're not looking up there...
UO1: using the move objects cheat and deleting your sim will in fact delete the sim, unlike in sims1 where it raises the needs meters to green
:disappointed: Well, luckily the game screwed up so I couldn't save. Is there any easy way of getting their meters higher quicker.
the only way I can think of is getting their aspiration in platinum mode and your moods will be taken care of automatically (moods max out in platinum mode i think).
If you do happen to delete them though (as I did) i merely saved it and went to the neighborhood and then back to the house and she was back (but I may have just lucked out lol)
Hehe. Yeah, that sounds like a good trick, I think I'll create a brand new sim first that I don't care to lose in case it doesn't work.
The easiest way to get all your needs up is with the enigmatic energizer! Its one of the aspiration items and puts everything to full. Unfortunatly, if you use it under gold aspiration all your needs go to zero. I accidently did that a few times...
