Okay Please Help Me My Sony Vaio Sucks Hey. I just got S2 yesterday and when i installed it on to my sony vaio desktop (i think it came out in 2002) It was sorta slow. Like when you start the game and the EA games little clip comes on, It's choppy. like wehn the person says "EA GA" Thats were it chops off and then 10 sec. later you hear the "ME CHALE" and then it stops "NGE EVERYTHING" UGHHHH its so annoying. So then i het to that little video sequence with that chik dancin. The graphic are preety good there. And theyre good up to when i get to the select a city menu. Overthere you see a preview of the citys, but mine is really low, like its blurry. Then when i get to my neighborhood. The grass and land is like... Hmmmm... If you've played Final Fantasy 8, And if you remeber when you walk outside. Well the grass is like that. A buch of big pixels. The cars and trucks and busses are all like yellow bocks with little to no detail. And finally when i get to the person i want to play with house. When ever i move the arrow, It shows a picture, than i second later another one (Its verry choppy) And the objects and my sims have no detail at all. The objects all look lik theyre parts from some really old PS game. Like FF. Theres lots more. But thats a SHORT summary. Please tell me what do i do? I really want to play this game. Please help me to get my graphics better. P.S - I already tried to fix the graphic settings to high in the graphics menu of the game (Nothing changes) IF you need my graphic info. I'll Tell you when i get on to my computer at home (Im at school rite now) PLEASE REPLY ASAP
I think my Vaio is circa 2002 and it handled the game the same way. Until I put in a new video card & updated drivers. Now it's like the folks move too fast. I'm still having problems getting the DVD drive to recognize the disc. Takes so long....
OH!!!! I'm playing my game in the DVD DRIVE! Will it make a difference if i dont? Nwayz. Yes i did do the new drivers they didnt help much. the graphics still suck. But the EA games logo is full. I am about to go put the CD in the CD-Rom Drive. OH GOD! PLEASE WORK! I'll tell u guys if it does.
NO! My stupid CD-Rom drive doesnt even recognize the cd. MAN! What do i do. So what can i do to get my graphics better! They're nothing like the freakin commercialls!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Please Help
There is nothing wrong with the DVD version, I have the DVD version and it works fine. It's just that a DVD-rom will ONLY run in a DVD player drive, so it will not run in a cd player drive. It would be like trying to play your music CD in an old cassette tape player, or on a record player.
