Help Sims2 wont start

I have installed the sims2 with XP. When I start the sims it asks for the CD. I put this in my CD drive as it requests then it asks me to put it in my other drive which is a DVD drive. I put it in there and it asks me to put it in the CD drive again. This is just repeated again and again. Any ideas?

 

Try putting the disk in the CD and starting the game from the autostart feature of the disk.

 

Also double check that you are inserting Disc No. 1 and one of the others ...

I have tried that. When I put disj 1 in and use autostart it gives a message that an expected file is not found
