Abduction What happens when you get abducted? i just got abducted and there was nothing different to my sim when he returned.
He might be pregnant with alien babies. (no joke) Also, if your sim has the knowledge aspiration, that is sometimes one of the things that he'll need to get aspiration points. I think it gives you a ton of points. LIke, 5,000 or something.
Well actually it was a teenager, and they cant get babies right? and his aspiration is popularity so i dont think anything can happen to him.
Yeah, he'll be fine 'cause, like you said, teens can't have babies. So the abduction thing for him more than likely wouldn't have any positive or negative consequences. But... Maxis is pretty sneaky with their little hidden features... Like, when the teen turns into an adult and finds a mate, and he gets her pregnant, the resulting baby might end up being an alien baby because of the abduction. That would be kinda cool, actually.
Abductees Can anyone be abducted? Or does it only happen in the weird town? I would love to see what would happen excactly. I got a caracter with a cool job as a scientist and has maxed out his knowledge skills. Is there a chance it would happen to him soon?
I asked the same question in another thread yesterday, and one of the guys who replied said that one of his sims in another neigbourhood (other then strangetown, that is) did get abducted.
I have a question about the telescope during day time. I sent mine to the roof to look through the telescope during the day to keep them out of the way and while I was concentrating on something else I realized someone strange was coming downstairs. All I could think of was that the telescope pulled someone into my house. Has anyone paid enough attention to tell me what all the telescopes can do?
If you look through the telescope during the day you are spying on neighbors instead of stargazing... the neighbors can catch you and will come over to confront you. I had Darren Dreamer using the telescope one day and apparently he was spying on Mortimer Goth (he had Mortimer in his thought bubble and was snickering and giggling). A few minutes later Mortimer came running into the house and started shoving Darren and made him cry, LOL.
I'm really starting to wonder about the alien abduction thing. Before I knew that only male adult Sims could become pregnant with an alien baby, I had a woman get abducted. She just cries sometimes and UFOs appear in her thought bubbles, but no pregnancy. Since then, I made it my mission to get a male Sim pregnant. I've played 7 or 8 male Sims and make them stargaze in between the hours of 8PM until 2AM every night. I've split them up between the 3 pre-made neighbourhoods and two that I made myself. So far, not one abduction. It just doesn't make sense that my 7 or so Sims have spent 70 or so Sim-hours stargazing, and none of them become abducted.
Yes, I use the money cheat so they can buy the more expensive one. Will they not get abducted with the cheaper one?
I have mortimer come running in and shoving my sims when they dont even have a telescope and werent spying or nutin. Its hilarious but pisses me off sometimes
