It doesn't appear to be any limit.

i dont guess theres a limit as long as theres no more than 8 in the house hold cuz my faily sim wants 10 kids

The household limit is 8, but as long as you make the kids you have move out, you have no limit as to how many kids you can have. One of my Sims had 6 kids. Never again.

You can only have 8 people in a house unless you use cheats. The way you have twelve kids is to have them in batches. I had a sim who was born in the game grow up and have 10, 4 adopted, 6 not. By the time her final kid was a toddler the oldest four were in college and she was a basket case. She became an elder before I could get her happy enough for the elixir.

That was my first large family, and the only really huge one I've tried.

I find that 4 kids is enough of a challenge. The hardest part is getting the little shavers potty trained before their infant sibs become toddlers too ...

Potty training is a very good thing. :D Walking and talking are nice, but I find potty usage essential.

I suppose also if you have a female vampire, she could have as many children as you felt like giving her, as she'll outlast all her children anyway. Since Adult Vampires never become elders, imagine the offspring they could have! That would actually be an interesting expirament. One could end up with a child who was the great great great great aunt of a newborn baby in the game. It boggles the mind...

Hmmm .. interesting, but I don't think I'd try it. I've learned my lesson about being responsible for too many sims at once. I might, however, allow a vampire to have a second child after several gens had gone by.

    That would, indeed, be freaky.

My great-great-great-great-aunt is crying, says the creaky old lady. I think she wants her bottle. :D

I have finally had one Family Sim achieve her goal of having 10 children! :) I cheated a little: I started her out with four children, two of them teenagers, and one of them was also a family sim, so he helped raise the little ones. As one or two would transition to children, I would send one or two off to college. :)

Allison, honey, do us a favor and let dead thread stay dead. I'm glad you're reading all the older stuff, but resurecting a year-old thread just to agree with it isn't cool.

Actually Alison didn't revive a year old thread, it was only a month old, and anyway 'PeppaSimShaka' was the one who revived a year old dead thread.

And I'm totally clueless as well. If someone says something interesting I'll reply and not pay attention to things like dates.

So Allison, don't worry. You've got company.
